A commercial property operator in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia, required a permanent outdoor LED display for building facade advertising. Screen size: 5.76 m (W) × 3.84 m (H) = 22.1 m². Delivered February 2022.
Challenge
Kuala Lumpur’s tropical climate (high humidity, heavy rain, 30°C+ ambient temperature) demands IP65-rated outdoor cabinets with reliable thermal management. The client required Kinglight LED lamps for color consistency and ICN2038S driver IC for stable performance in high-humidity conditions.

Result
The 22 m² display was manufactured, tested at HAFOND’s Shenzhen facility, and shipped to Kuala Lumpur within the agreed 20-day lead time. The client reported stable operation through two monsoon seasons without water ingress or module failure. This project serves as a reference for Southeast Asia outdoor fixed installations.
